Two bottles of coconut nectar — $39.98 against $45.98 for two singles, so about 13% less. The mildest syrup we sell, and the easiest one to add to something without changing its character.
What it tastes like
Mild and rounded, with a soft butterscotch-caramel note. It does not taste strongly of coconut, which surprises most people. Of our syrups it is the most neutral — which is exactly why buying two makes sense here in a way it might not for a more assertive flavour.
How to use it
- Coffee, tea and cold drinks — dissolves immediately, which granulated sugar does not
- Pancakes and waffles — the obvious one, and it holds up
- Smoothies and shakes — adds sweetness and body without a competing flavour
- Dressings and sauces — useful anywhere you want sweetness to round something off rather than announce itself
- Baking — a liquid, so not a one-for-one swap for granulated sugar

Common questions
Is it certified organic?
No. We are not USDA organic certified and we do not use the word. If you find an older listing that says otherwise, it is out of date.
Does it taste like coconut?
Only faintly. Most people read it as butterscotch or light caramel.
How does it compare to the other syrups?
It is the mildest. Yacon is the most flavourful, date syrup the sweetest, and chicory root syrup the one built around fiber — 11g per tablespoon with 0g added sugars. Coconut nectar is the one that stays out of the way.
No one is perfect. Just have good balance.
