Dairy free, soy free semi-sweet mini chips. Small enough to spread through a cookie properly, in a resealable bag.

Why mini

A standard chip gives you three or four per cookie and a lot of plain dough between them. Minis distribute — you get chocolate in every bite instead of in three of them. They also melt faster, which matters in anything with a short bake.

They are semi-sweet, so they contain sugar. This is chocolate, not an unsweetened baking product.

How to use them

  • Cookies and muffins — the obvious use, and where the size earns its place
  • Pancake and waffle batter — minis will not sink the way full-size chips do
  • Trail mix and no-bake bites — no baking involved
  • Melting — they melt fine, though the wafers are better shaped for it
  • Straight from the bag — we are not going to pretend this does not happen

Dairy free, and that is the point

Most chocolate chips contain milk solids even when labelled dark. These do not, and they are soy free too — which makes them the ones to reach for when you are baking for someone else and are not sure what they avoid.

Common questions

Is it certified organic?
No. We are not USDA organic certified and we do not use the word. If you find an older listing that says otherwise, it is out of date.

Do they hold their shape when baked?
Yes. They are made to survive an oven, which is what separates a baking chip from a melting wafer.

Can I swap them for regular chocolate chips?
Yes, one for one by weight. You will get noticeably more even distribution.

What is the difference between these and the wafers?
Shape and job. Mini chips hold their shape through baking. Wafers are flat discs built to melt smoothly for coating and dipping.

No one is perfect. Just have good balance.
