Why mini
A standard chip gives you three or four per cookie and a lot of plain dough in between. Minis distribute — chocolate in every bite rather than in three of them. They also melt faster, which matters in a short bake.
They are semi-sweet, so they contain sugar.
How to use them
- Cookies and muffins — where the size earns its place
- Pancake and waffle batter — minis will not sink the way full-size chips do
- Trail mix and no-bake bites
- Straight from the bag — we are not going to pretend otherwise
Dairy free, and that is the point
Most chips contain milk solids even when labelled dark. These do not, and they are soy free too — the ones to reach for when baking for someone whose restrictions you are not certain of.

Common questions
Is it certified organic?
No. We are not USDA organic certified and we do not use the word. If you find an older listing that says otherwise, it is out of date.
Do they hold their shape when baked?
Yes. They are made to survive an oven.
Can I swap them for regular chips?
Yes, one for one by weight, with noticeably more even distribution.
No one is perfect. Just have good balance.
